Some fruit and spice going on.

Rikelig med DMS i et øl som ellers ikke lever opp til å skulle være en winterwarmer, svært nedtonet krydder som vokser med oppvarming.

500ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear golden amber, thin, short-lived white head. Aromas of spice, dried fruit. Taste is nutmeg, fairly dominated by the spice. Nutmeg-gy finish. A struggle.

Lukt: Frisk syrlig duft av frukter og noe krydder.
Utseende: Dunkel mørk orange farge.
Skum/kullsyre: Tynn hinnne skum, heng langs kant.
Smak: Fin fruktig smak med litt krydder og en sur søt ettersmak.

From bottle at DSJT at Cardinal 09.11.14. Hazy golden. Small off-white head. Soft, fine hops and some sweetness in aroma and taste. Also a bit of pale malt. Low bitterness.

50cl Bottle, thanks to my in-laws! Just slightly hazy golden orange/amber colour, white head. Aroma of nutmeg, some faded cinnamon, pale malts. Flavour is also lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove powder, grain, bitter powdery finish. Light-bodied. OK, but a little heavy on the spice, becomes a bit cloying after a while.
