(bottle) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a huge and stable off-white foamy head. Discreet aroma: yeasty and sweet malty, moderately wheaty nose with cloves and a whiff of citrus and banana. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malt-accented taste with moderately wheaty and rather restrained fruity accents, accompanied by clovy spices; sweet malty and delicately fruity finish. Drinkable but a tad too sweet. 03.XII.10

Bottle: Deep golden, cloudy, no head to speak of; vegetables and sweet wheat-malt in the nose, faint traces uf roasted malt and dust underneath; moderate dryish sour-sweet flavour, a bit fizzy, light to medium bodied; sweetish-wheaty finish with a slight fruity acidity and a slight tartness in the aftertase. Not bad, but not really satisfying.....

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful golden beer, only slightly hazy with a lively head that almost spurts out of the bottle when the cap is removed. Very fruity with a citrusy freshness and a touch of acidity. Almost no bitterness. A very classical Hefe of top quality. 030401

An unclear orange beer with a nice white head. The aroma is light, but very sweet with notes of caramel and wheat. The flavor is thin but dominated by wheat. A below average hefeweizen.

Orange, greenish shine with big grey yeastlumps floating around; thick, luxurious white head. Nose with chaff, grain. Very clovey, estery smell. Exotic weeds and baby fruitmash. Rather sweetish taste, both orange and banana. Spicey and retronasal even grass. Very light mouthfeel for a Hefe. A bit characterless. One would almost revert to the flunkiness of the Riedenburger (tasted them alongside each other).

Aroma is bready with subdued citric and estery notes. Handsome cloudy yellow coloring with a big creamy head and not too much visible carbonation. Banana and vanilla flavors dominate, to a lesser degree lemonpeel and a very light nutty note can be detected when exhaling. Medium to light body, but a lingering vanilla ice cream note carries this beer of to a soft pleasant exit. Very nice round weisse.
