Bottle from Craft Bar Pitmedden. It pours darkest brown to black with a small khaki head. The aroma is intoxicating, vanilla, cake frosting, rock road, rich whisky character, dried fruits and berries, cherry Bakewell, rather jammy, toasted coconut, charred oak, tunnocks teacakes, jammy wagon, cacao nibs, umami and liquorice. The taste is slick, oily, toothy, chewy, bitter - sweet character, whisky soaked oak, light tannin, plenty, dried fruits, berry, cherry, raspberry, fortified wine, sherry, liquorice, cacao nibs, gateaux, jammy wagon wheels, rocky road and some boozey warmth with a juicy jammy finish. Medium -fulsome body and fine carbonation. Nice fruity character to it.
