At the brewery tap, Cairndow, May 2023. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Floral hops, some grapefruit and lemon character, biscuity maltiness leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at The Queen Vic. It pours clear pale gold with a handsome fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh hoppage, oily, sappy, grapefruit, pomelo, pale bready malt, splash of white wine and gooseberry in there. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing and lingering bitterness, pithy, zesty, lovely grapefruit character, quite floral, green, pine needles, touch of white pepper and a clean malt base with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Tastes super fresh and in great condition, which really makes the lower abv hopped pale shine.
