Bottle from Windswept - cheers Bruce!. It pours clear deepest ruby - brown with a decent beige head. The aroma is toasty, roasty, some umami, liquorice, green, herbal, cocoa, cola, light smoke, molasses and malt loaf. The taste is dry roast, bitter - sweet, toasty, cola, dried fruits, fruit cake, light umami, herbal, spicy, cocoa and earth with a dry, charred finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Decent stuff. Some nice aspects to it.
