Bottle from SuperBest Ama’r Foodmarket, Copenhagen - fuzzy brown pour with medium beige head. Toasty malty, slight roasted, caramel, toffee, slight nutty, some hop nuance in there as well, with a bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with small light brown head. Aroma is grapefruit peel, grape seeds and hints of soap. Aroma hints of a very bitter taste. Taste is initial sweet then medium bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with good carbonation. Finish is long and bitter with notes of bitter grapefruit, ripe fruit, hints of soap and caramel and faint chalky. A bit disappointing.

Skummet varer. God sitrusaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er sitron. Tilløp til malt. Greit øl men ikke noe typisk brown ale.

500ml bottle picked up at Kihoskh in Copenhagen. Frothy, fawn-coloured head. Nice lace pattern to the glass. Near-clear, dark amber coloured body. Hoppy aroma with dark fruits alongside hints of earthy malts. Fruit hoppy taste mixed with dark malts. Nice bittersweet ending Oily palate. Not a typical version of the style. Pleasing, anyway. Shared with Finn (Tromsø, 04.10.2012).

" Tiltredes!
