Beer share at Lennarts, Malmö - Dark Amber to brown with off white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with a plethora of dark dried fruit, brown sugar and caramel, some nice spices into the finish. Very nice and has aged well.

Keg at the bow bar. Pours hazy amber, sweet sickly toffee taste. Bit of honey there.

Bottled 330ml. -from trade with Nisse666, thanks Thomas. Dark amber coloured, huge beige head, caramel and light spices in the nose. Toasted malt, quite sweet, caramel and overripe fruits with hint of chocolate and spices. Light bitterness with light notes of hops in the finish.

Nisse’s? Anyway, great that I get to try this. Poured a murky brownish amber body with an enormous beige head. Heavy maltiness in the aroma, vague chocolate, vague lemon. Sweet malty taste, vague caramel and chocolate, pear juice? Light bitterness, lemony notes. Fine, balanced barleywine, far from cloying, slightly too earthy for its own good but by all means a good beer.

Bottle @ Monk’s Porter House, beer tasting with Jessica Heidrich. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruity, hops, some alcohol. Flavour is rather acidic, caramel, hops, sweet malts.

Riktigt fin.

Sampled from bottle. Hazy reddish color, small beige head. Smell malts, sweetness, a bit of sugar. Taste malts, some sweetness, slightly alcohol, some fruits like pear and something else I just can’t figure out what it is. Medium carbo, medium body.
