Bottle picked up in Glasgow. It pours rich deep ruby with bubbky beige head. The aroma is sweet, stick, dried berry, red fruits, bit of spice, Xmas pudding, candy, oily, oak, toffee, brandy and toasted brown sugars. The taste is slick, oily, plenty of dried fruits, fruit cake, toothy, oak, bit of tannin, some alcohol, warmth, spice, bit of toasted coconut, nut and old leather sofa with a drying finish. Medium+ body and fine, foamy carbonation. Works quite well. Rich malt character. Decent.
