Bottled picked up at the Inverurie Whisky Shop. It pours clear amber with a smallish white head. The aroma is toasty grain, fresh pine, earthy, forest floor, light citrus peel and a touch of cakey malts. The taste is dry, some bitterness, piney, spruce, floral, peppery spice, earth, slightly soapy and some biscuit with a drying finish. Light to medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Lacks a bit of depth or body perhaps. Fun enough.
