Sinning this month... beers are cold and I am hot... Smell- weak malt, roast. Foam- thin, malty, some roast, then bitter tones. Head is medium-sized, dark brown color. Appearance- simple can. Very dark brown, but basically black color, weak to medium-ish carbonation. From - stout glass Taste - malty, weak roast, then bitter tones. Quite roasty, bitter, and malty, not much more to say.

Keg @ Arcade Beer, Huddersfield. Black with a thick frothy head. It's easy-drinking in its texture, with a nutty roasted aroma and taste.

Keg at Brighton BierHaus. It pours jet black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, big coffee character, dark chocolate and toasted nut. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, roasted malt, toasty, warming spice, plenty of coffee and dark chocolate with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Plenty of flavour for the Abv. Good stuff.
