Old rating from 21-12-14 - 355ml bottle dark brown with a large off white creamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, apple, cinnamon, raisins, bread, hints of spice & malt. Medium body. Soft slightly sweet finish

Bottle. Medium brown in color with a light head. No lace. Aroma is light caramel with a touch of roasted but. Taste is kind of weak with touches of caramel, roasted nuts, not bad but could be better.

thanks to mgermani for the bottle. Pours a dark mahoghany, small tan head. Nose is quite ntuty, and woody, somehwat earthy, with a touch of malt. Flavour is bitter, a tad wattery, some malt, toffee, caramel. Finish is a tad sweet, with a lingering bitterness. Hmmmm......not bad, not great.

Pours dark brown like a stout with a very thick coffee colored head. Intense aroma of spices. Taste has dark earth notes as well as a full compliment of herbs and spices. Palate includes dark cherry, spice, rosemary and others. Good.
