(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 1 June 2025) Golden colour with brief foamy head. Fruity nose with notes of pears, yellow apples, grass and a touch of yeast. Fruity, tart taste with pears, yellow apples, grass, citrus and a generous acidity in the finish. Medium body, just a slight sweetness. Tart and refreshing. Quite nice.

Bag in Box at Pigs Ear 2016. It pours hazy very pale straw with minimal head. The aroma is tart, punchy, white wine vinegar, barnyard, musty action and gooseberry. The taste is dry, tart, earthy, pear skin, some astringency, wood, drying, cheap white wine and a touch of vinegar with a drying finish. Medium bodied. A touch too much vinegar, but ok.
