The Golden Rose’s shimmering petals are fit to adorn the curvature of a grand arbor, a gateway into a mystical realm. Sparked by the awe-inspiring landscapes of New Zealand, Golden Rose is a Triple IPA that further encapsulates our enthusiasm for this island wonder. This installment in our rose series showcases the synergistic characteristics of Nelson Sauvin, Waimea, and Paradisi hops, each contributing to a harmonious, innovative flavor profile. Nelson Sauvin hops bring the essence of white grape, and Waimea’s woody and citrus undertones further these wine-like aromas. Paradisi hops then overflow with tropical notes of ripe guava, zingy star fruit, and sweet mangos. Golden Rose invites you to embrace a journey into the unknown. Each sip beckons you further into a lush world of mystery and tropical bliss.

Can at home in the garden, 17th May 2025. Sunny and hot! This pours a lovely looking opaque yellow orange soupy beast. Aroma is dank, guava, melons, skunk, mangoes. Taste is intense, over ripe mangoes, dank, earthy, skunky, guava and bright fruits, lingering bitter and earthy kick to it. Incredibly easy to drink for for 9.0 ABV

Pours a hazy, banana-oatmilk color, with smallish head. Aroma has a very pungent, upfront note of used oil/gas mix (or garlic/green onion?), along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavors all follow, including that pungent note. Mouthfeel is soft, though maybe a touch thin, given the ABV. The alcohol content is well-hidden. Moderate to above average levels of hop bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

Draught sample at Charlton, 2/4/25.
Pale and milky, the way it should be.
Wow! Funk! That's phenomenal. Rich, wacky passion fruit and gentle but deep spice. Fantastically aromatic, clear, bright and complex, with light, honey-like malt in support. Zero excess here; wouldn't guess it was 9%.
Juicy, rich, funky, tropical, soft and with good attenuation. Melon, heavy guava and passion fruit and a round texture with good depth. It's robust but not overdone and those flavors are to die for. So much clean, clear, bright, complex hop...

Pours murky light gold into a willi. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Earthy mango and peach fuzz aromas. Thick with sweet white smarties, hot marshmallow and melon upfront turning to earthy apricot in the hot, lasting finish.
