Thursday 16th October 2025. Cobweb tasting session with four friends, almost every beer being very old or just 'out of date' (mostly very old). My place being the venue. 440ml can, only one year out of date, cheers Mike. Almost black, with a tanned topping. Peanut flavour (what a surprise), not too sure about the 'brittle' part though. Sweet and 'nutty' from start to finish.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Vauxhall, London, 24 Nov 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, lactose, vanilla and peanut butter. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, milky coffee, peanuts, vanilla and a mild roasty bitterness. Almost full body, sweet. On the sweet side, but really rich and tasty. Very nice.

440ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is dusty dark chocolate and a little peanut. Taste has rich dark chocolate with nutty yeast.
