Cask at The Old Coffee House. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is grassy, dank, juicy, floral, sweet white bread and straw. The taste is assertively bitter upfront, almost astringent, very dry, straw, grass, earth, raw bitterness, peppery spice, florals and a touch of biscuit with a long, lingering bitter- dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I like aspects of this beer, but overall its too raw, dry and bitter. Not overly drinkable.
