Cask at the Old Coffee House. It pours crystal clear gold with a small, but sturdy white head. The nose is fresh, bready malts, white bread, bitter - sweet character, cracker and stone fruits. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, floral, straw, white grape, gooseberry, citrus peel, touch of pepper and honeyed grain with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation (particularly nice condition). Not as extreme as many of their beers. A solid, straight down-the-line hopped gold.
