Cask at Four Thieves. It pours clear deep red with a small off-white head. The nose is rich, earthy, spicy, dark fruits and Jamaican ginger cake. The taste is bitter, earthy, tart red fruit, alcohol hit, toasted wood, leather, fruit cake and mild astringency with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Aroma is rather nice, but the taste has too much dry wood to it for my tastes. Fun to try anyways.
