Cask gravity at Croydon Craft beer fest. It pours clear golden - amber with a decent white head. The nose is quite bready, toasty grain, cereal, earth, light spice and grass. The taste is bitter-sweet, straw, bread, pithy lemon, grapefruit rind, straw, light spice, wood and peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Old-school cask ale vibe. Quite spicy. Doesn’t do very much for me.
