Keg at Mother Kelly’s. It pours deep purple with a thick pinkish heads. The nose is soft, juicy, blackberry jam, earth, fruity tartrness, Ribena and a touch of spice. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy blackcurrant, red grape, plum skin, jammy, spicy, earthy, sour lemon, wood, brown bread and mild acidity with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Super juicy stuff. Nice stuff indeed.
