Decent hopped-up lager, with mild esters offset by a deep, lingering pine bitterness and hints of citrus. Apple-tinged semisweet middle is nice, but the hops seem somewhat overpowering, growing medicinal against the moderate lager notes. Pretty golden pour with a frothy white head and nice lacing. Nose is pinecone hops and lager yeast. Sparkly texture works for the style. Okay.

Can from West Side. Pours a deep gold with a finger of foam. Grainy nose with a touch of honey. Saison-like grainy texture on the palate, wheat, malt and honey flavors. Well-balanced. On tap at P&P Charleston. Clear pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is light malt, light body, medium carbonation, and a little small-bubble lacing. Taste is fresh light herbal hops and some light malt.

Golden coloured body with a thin pure white head, only a centimetre tall. Aroma of metal, light grain, alcohol and some fresh citrus. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours up front with a very dry finish along with some lightly pungent citrus sweetness that finishes very easy. Aftertaste is slightly dry with fresh cut grass, a touch herbal and some light metallic and minerealy flavours that end nicely. Overall, a very nice mild lager with some smooth flavours with a touch of a funky and bitter finish. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York yesterday on 03-December-2016 for US$2,25 sampled on the train from New York to Washington the day after on 04-December-2016.

$2.10 can from Wine Warehouse. Pours light golden, lots of active carbonation, small soft white head. Aroma is lemon, grains, pine - quite nice for a lager. Awfully flavorful for a lager too! Nice mix of lemon and orange citrus, some grasses and grains, bit of floral hops, and some bready malt. This is a lager I can get behind.

Can Slightly hazy lemon yellow with a fluffy white head. Very light flowery/spicy hop aroma. The flavor is lightly bitter that lasts through a nice dry finish. Crisp and refreshing.

Good clarity (high) with nothing left behind in the can...interesting. Must be low-level filtration, because this definitely doesn’t taste heavily filtered. Straw-blonde body has golden tints and a large, well-retained, white head.
Again, the first thing I get, is Bells house character. Must be the water...since this is obviously not their house ale yeast. Pepper and herbs, with bits of sourdough-like maltiness and white grape abound. American hopping isn’t overdone, and actually mimics the noble hops pretty well, if rather much more intensely (nectarine, lemon, orange, light pine). Everything is quite rich and intense, but it’s fairly well balanced but for a bit of excess pine/sourdough. Clean, for sure.
Very malty in the mouth, with strong honey and moderate sourdough-like toastiness. Big pepper and dried herb notes slowly give way to lemon, orange rind, white grape and light pine, but are in turned checked, slightly, by more sticky, moderately sweet malts on the finish. Soft, malty, almost sticky texture with ample, engaging carbonation. Could see this being a bit of a trainwreck fresh, as even after 2+ months, it’s still VERY assertive and has a bit more pine and sourdough than I want.
