Cask at the Lyric during the tap takeover - London. Pours lightly hazy amber with a foamy, white head. The aroma holds pine, toasty bread, grains and orange. Medium sweet flavor with dry and lightly toasted grainy bread, a bit of ripening orange, piney bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced on the finish, with piney resin, earth, more grainy bread, floral hops. Very nice.

Cask at the lyric for the tap takeover. Hazed orange / amber coloured pour with a lasting greyish cream loose head. Aroma is citrus lemon hop, hot alcohol, bit rustic. Flavour is rustic, jammy, midget gem hop, little orange, resin. Palate is grainy, resinous, moderate to low carb. Little bit of alcohol warmth. Lingering grain and orange.

Cask at Lyric, Soho. It pours murky deep amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, juicy, creamy, stewed orange, brioche, candied citrus, rye bread and a wood. The taste is big punchy bitterness, resinous, spicy, wood, brown bread, leather, zesty grapefruit rind, orange peel and light astringency with a dry, lingering finish. Medium+ body, soft carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Punchy and flavoursome. Very nice indeed.
