ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Cloudy brown beer. Nice roasted malt, not overdone. Good Sorachi Ace lemon cream provides a nice contrast. Nice bitter finish and linger. Decent.

Bottle consumed with Gazza and my dad 01.09.11, cheers Gazza for bringing this along Quite honoured to have a preliminary sampling of this beer which is just about to be served at a few pubs in Derbyshire and elsewhere over the coming days & weeks. As Gazza suggested this was a touch young yet, but it was keen and eager to impress. Touch of pithiness at end (grapefruit). I got some spent coffee grains, Gazza got chocolate covered coffee bean, he was spot on. There was some good bitterness and yet it wasn’t overly bitter, touch of fresh green hoppiness but I would imagine that any rough edges on this will continue to smooth out over time and this can only get better.
