Tap. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Murky gold. Thin, messy, lasting, white head. Lovely, orange and pineapple on the nose. Clean, light malts. Taste has some sweetness, before the Kernel bitterness kicks in. Soft carbonation, and decent body to it. Finishes long, moderate bitter, with a little dryness on the close.

Bottle at home picked up at the brewery and drank at home. Aroma is clean grassy hop, faint citrus, vanilla, Translucent golden / light orange coloured pour with a lasting steady off white head. Flavour is grainy base malts, , tangy orange peel, grassy, and a tiny hint of smokey nelson sauvin character. A little bit of lace on the glass. Palate is medium light, moderate carbonation. Mellow grassy bitterness. Very pleasent drinking pale.

(bottle) Hazy to cloudy, orange-golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Piney and resiny hoppy aroma with mildly fruity and slightly exotic accents. Moderately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Resiny hops character with mildly citric notes on a pale malty base; moderately dry and bitter finish, again with primary resiny and slightly fruity hops. 07.III.12

0.5l bottle from beermerchants.com It pours a golden cloudy body with a small almost bubbly just off-white head. On the aroma I get lots of piny hops - almost like smelling a pine busk actually, annd there is also some nice sweet tropical peachy tones here as well. Quite enjoyable for a pale ale, and and overall really nice! Well, if the aroma was nice, the flavor is even better. Much the same as the aroma with hoppy peachy, light mild citrus, some apricots, pineapple and piny tones perfectly mixed in a smooth blender. My god this is easy, smooth and light drinkable. Imagine to have this as a 6pack in the store! Must admit this one disappeared so quickly that I hardly had time rating it. Want a new one! NOW! 17.03.2012
