Cask gravity at a party in Kent. A pale amber orange coloured pour with a fading loose white head, aroma is nice floral notes, straw, hay, light pine. Palate is semi dry, straw, mellow cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered earthy malts, straw. Biscuit, earthy, brown bread. Rustic grains. Nice.

Like the Best Bitter quite malt-sweetish with no bitterness in the back. Easy to drink, fruity malty with a light but not too bitter finish.

Fairly typical amber ale I don't get much from the hops it's more caramel and toffee from the malt but it's nice all the same

Taste comprises caramel wafer, hedgerow, fruit rinds, grains, straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a modest bitter edge. Fine for the style.

Amber pour with a small white head, aromas of malt, hops, citrus and other fruit. Taste is similar with a citrussy, bitter aftertaste. Sessionable.

Bottle at home. A proper best bitter with malt, bitter hops and an enjoyable depth of flavour. Good, but not worth what I paid for it.

Cask. Pours murky brown with no head. Aroma of dark fruit and malty blackcurrant. Taste- malty, bitter, stewed dark fruit. A bit flat- possibly near the end of the barrel.
