Flight @ The Old English Pub, Gananoque. Aroma is citrusy, piney and resinous. Pours clear golden color with large soapy off-white head and good lacing. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and herbal with solid malty backbone and moderate bitter finish. Light body, slick texture and average
carbonation in palate. Chewy IPA…

Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a small cap with decent lacing. Spicy hop nose over smooth caramel malts. Hints of butterscotch as well. The hops in the taste are even spicier with the light grain lingering. The grassiness is nicely balanced. Crisp and dry mouthfeel. Kind of reminds me of the flavours of a Steam Whistle, but stronger as an ale and bolder hops as an IPA. I quite approve.

Not bad on initial nose for an IPA but the overall palate doesn’t do well as aftermath turns a little too astringent. Pours a nice cloudy amber with great creamy head and carpet lacing. The pillow of head disguises a good sense of hop aroma here though. Its too bad because initial aroma is this brew strong point. Some citrus here nonetheless, and a little malt. Finishes kind of sour and acrid. Tap at quinns.
