And the last of the three Gan beers that I had at Pizzeria Libretto that I emailed the brewer to figure out their regular name. Thank you Bruce from Gananoque for actually answering a beer-geeks email. Apparently, "Stagionale (Pizzeria Libretto listing for this beer) rotates but this week it is our Remarkable Session Ale" (guess their official name can be light or session. Depends how hipster you feel.) So be aware that this rotates, if it’s Stagionale Rye this is the right beer, if not Rye than maybe not. ’Nuff said. Pours a very cloudy golden with a fluffy white head with lacing. Smells of yeast nose, bready notes and malt. Taste some up-front bitterness, breads and flat malts. Acerbic after taste, which is where the bigger rye flavour appears.

Pours brown with decent head and lacing. Decent malt profile with crisp finish and decent bitterness from light hops at finish. Good for a mild ale. On tap at C’est What Craft Beer Festival.
