Cloyingly sweet candy beer. Too much vanilla and lactose give a Swee-Tart sugariness that grows overbearing as the pint warms. Bleh.

Hazy pinkish-rose-like dark amber colour, minimal creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of intensive blueberry, some strawberry, blackberry and vanilla notes; taste is the same with blueberry dominance again and some sourish notes; not really balanced

Not really a fan of the whole sauce series. Vanilla just comes off weird here. Very herbal. Blueberry, blackberry. Pours clear pale pink without much head. Light tart finish. Tap at Aslin in Herndon.

Can: Poured a maroon with a bubble head. Aroma is berries, black and blue. Taste is sour berries, black and blueberry.

Blueberry, vanilla aroma. Cloudy, thick, purple. Tart blueberry, vanilla, strawberry. Medium body, easy carbonation, alcohol well concealed.

Tallboy can. Poured a bright red color with a small off-white head. Like with the regular, normal ABV version of this, it smelled like fruit juice, like straight berries with vanilla. Flavor was pureed berries, vanilla. Very creamy. Super pleasant, but I'm not exactly sure why this needed more alcohol. Given the choice between Volcano or Super Volcano, I'd go with regular Volcano.
