This hibiscus saison pours brilliantly red. A bouquet of citrus, vanilla, and floral aromas rise from the glass. Flavors of berries and hibiscus are met with a slight tartness and a dry finish.

22oz bottle, I think bought at Costco. Poured a clear ruby red color, pink hued head. Aroma was light vanilla, citrus, and floral notes. Light berry notes. Hibiscus is there, but thankfully not overpowering. Light spicy grain finish.

Ridiculously pink coloured body with a great, pale pink coloured head, about five to six centimetres tall. Aroma of flowers, sour grapes, mellow wheat and coriander seed, some grassy and dry characteristics and finishes with a light yeastie and bready funk. Light-bodied; Smooth grassy and wheatie flavours at first with a very dry floral and herbal element and a sour funk from brett or grapes - very mild, but noticeable. Aftertaste shows a small sweetness from fruit with a definite grassy and even more floral characteristic along with a splash of vanilla and oak near the end to make it more mellow throughout. Overall, a nice beer that shows more of a herb/spice/veg beer than a Saison, but an absolutely beautiful colour and glow, but that doesn’t translate throughout the beer. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Costco on 20-June-2017 for US$6,99 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore in Pungoteague, Virginia on 02-July-2017.
