330 ml bottle, from Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2011. Bottle No. 0270 out of 2000. Still available at Vaaland, Bryne. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of catty and citrussy hops, notes of blackcurrant leaves and pine needles. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, quite dry and very refreshing. Notes of pine needles with a strong grapefruity bitterness.

0.33l bottle #1573 shared with ClubGonzo and InBreak. This one pours a mild clouded light orange beer with a small bubbly just off-white head. The aroma is really fruity and nice with lots of hops, really sweet with some almost soapy hints. Then someone at the table had to mention cat piss, and that pretty much ruined much of the nice thoughts I had on the aroma.. No, it's still quite nice. Average carbonation, medium to light-bodied and the mouthfeel is light oily. Flavors are also extreme hoppy with lots of pine, some cortex. Ends quite bitter with lots of nelson sauvin-hops in the aftertaste. A bit raw and perhaps even a bit to hoppy, but a nice beer.

Bottle. Clear golden with a moderate white head. Strong aroma of grapefruit and other citric fruits. Flavor is fruity and bitter with a nice caramel malt base. Quite soft and harmonic, still tasty and bitter. A very nice thirst-quencher at only 4,5 abv.
