Brewed to honor the brave souls who kept our brewpub open in the early 90’s while wrecking balls tore down the mall around us. Dry and smooth, with a grassy, citrus aroma and honey malt middle.

Pours deep gold into a tulip. Off-white head with excellent retention recedes to skim surface. Honey, yeast and fruit aromas. Sweet honey upfront turning slightly grassy in the lasting, somewhat hot finish.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. It pours deep crystal clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is spicy, tart apricots, pears, apples and yeasty spices. The taste is similar with yeasty spice, varied fruitiness like apricots, apples and pear. It has a lingering spiciness heading deep into the after taste.

Bottle, 12oz. An almost clear one, golden in color, and without head. Sweetish, fruity nose that didn’t give me much. Alcohol, sugary malts and a good dash of fruityness in the flavor, a herbal bitterness finishes it. Dry and full-bodied. A nice beer, nothing more, lacks on complexity and it’s too sugary sweet. 100212

Location: A 22 oz bottle from Whole Foods - Bowery

Aroma: The nose has some sweet citrus hops, spice, and yeast
Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy golden color with a huge, lasting, fluffy white head
Flavor: The taste is similar, spicy yeast, citrus sweetness, some grassy characteristic, and other fruity notes
Palate: The mouthfeel is somewhat sticky, decent amount of carbonation, though still pretty smooth, and with a fairly light body
Overall Impression: My overall impression of this beer is pretty positive, I like the way it drinks and thought it had a nice flavor to it, seems to be pretty well-made stuff as well. Another nice one from Goose Island.

Tap @ Boston/NY 2009. Hazy golden color, medium head. Very spicy aroma, coriander? Tripel-like. Slight bitter. Heavy on the stomach.

Bottle. Slightly dim, orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity with some caramel and hops. Flavor is sweet, malty and some degree of bitterness. Totally drinkable and I definitiv had worse, but I’m not quite sure of what direction this was meant to be.

Bomber as plain Demolition. Probably from Archer Liquors. Pours hazy gold with a foamy off-white, ringy/clingy, head. Aromas of citrus and mild spice. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is citrus, pale malt, some sweetness, and touches of yeast/spice. Very tasty.
