Bottle, massive thanks to the Benji. It pours near black with a thick light tan head. The nose is soft, rich roast, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, wood. The taste is rich, roasty, earthy, toast, cocoa, sherbet, wood, coffee, mild acidity, parma violets and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty damn tasty.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Craig brought this beer along, cheers Craig! Touch smokey at first, mmhh.. a little peaty, iodine but then the hops start to come through. Hops are very fresh in this beer, really green and clean tasting, some cocoa also coming into play in the mouth, its a nice beer. Quite impressed with these three beers from Tempest.
