Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is a wet bread dough with a bit of spicy hops. Flavor is a little lackluster and surprisingly sweet. I’m thinking this was made with honey malt rather than pils malt. Finish is clean and goes away quickly. I like this brewers IPA’S but this one needs more work. Way too sweet for a pilsner.

12 oz bottle into a pilsner. Best by 9/6/2016 so assumed 4 months old. A: Medium gold and very clear with a short quick-fading head and large slow bubbles. S: Piney/herbal hops and sweet malt scent. T: Bracing bitterness and doughy malt together. Herbal hops. A pronounced but not cloying sweetness lingers with a hint of lemon. M: Medium/heavy feel with lowish level of crisp carbonation for good drinkability with some substance. O: A good and distinct pils in its rich malt flavors. Hops are supporting in nice balance. Recommended.
