Bottle picked up from Degenhart Getrankemarkt, Freyung, and consumed at home Friday 5th June 2026 after picking up our new residence cards earlier and a short cycle ride up to the local Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schofweg. Pours clear warm gold with a white head, the carbonation could be a tad more enthusiastic, regarding this, it's okay but lacking slightly. Some sweet maltiness from the off, a little bitterness also floods through, grassy hoppiness, nice mouthfeel despite carbonation lacking a little. 🤣Score: 7.0

War glaub ich jetzt einige Jahre nicht im Programm der Brauerei. Ist jetzt im Frühjahr 2026 aber wieder zurück - mit neuem Etikettendesign und 6,5 % Alkohol.
Hell golden und fast glasklar im Glas. Viele Blubberbläschen wandern durchs Glas. Trockenes, süßes Malz und fruchtig aromatische Quitte in der Nase. Die Quitte kommt gleich im Antrunk mit, das Malz in Mittelteil, der Alkohol bestimmt den Schlussteil. Minimale Spuren von Sekt, Aprikose und Birne schwingen mit. Frisch, fruchtig und trotz einer gewissen Schwere, recht süffig.

33cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of pale malt, floral hops, dry. Taste of grassy hops, floral bitterness, pale malt, good Maibock!

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, old malt, sugar, fruity, light grassy hops. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, light heller bock alike ;O) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111001]

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head and lacings. Straw, hops and a whiff of alcohol. Very fresh grassy and grainy flavor. Smooth.

The bottle looks good as well as the beer in the glass. Zippy, nice head. Starts strong, quite spicy, also hoppy-dry notes in the background. A little bit metallically without being too much. Well balanced finish, still quite spicy. Good one!
