From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.
Pours a clear amber red with a small and receding head of foam. It does persist throughout the session.
I get aromas of various spices, cloves, yes curry as I eat curry often. Figs, and something pungent.
Taste wise, I get curry, though it is not that sweet, cloves, figs and some roasted malt.
Decent mouthfeel, a different kettle of fish here that I enjoyed.

Pour is a hazy dark red with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy. Plenty of sugar and sone cinnamon. Flavor is not as sweet as I thought it was going to be but it's still a little sweet. Some christmas spices come out after the swallow along with some earthy esters. I'm always game for a good spice ale and this fit the bill with some base beer elements also coming out.

Bottle as "Figgy Noir". The beer pours a dark slightly murky amber color with a medium thin light beige head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Figs, malt and spices in the nose. Medium body with a figgy character and notes of roast malt and spice. The finish is caramel, fruit and spice. Pretty good overall.

Tap at the brewery - "Figgy Blackfoot" - hazy amber - rich.maltiness in the nose works.really.well with the.moderate, mildly earthy fig.presence and mildly dusty yeast - flavor is rich maltiness, light cobweb, moderate spiciness, dough, fig, mild tartness to finish - solid.
