Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium amber yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caraeml, sour apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. IMO a bit borring ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. On cask, gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, 07.05.11 Golden in colour this is just a simple refreshing session bitter, the sort of thing that Chiltern excel at. Touch biscuity at times with a hint of vanilla in the background, its smooth, lightly fruity and very decent. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov12 3.3

[Cask at Reading beerfest] Thought I’d best try at least one Royal Wedding beer! Gold/amber, moderate white head. Dry, hoppy straw with a little lemon behind. Pleasant start to the festival; another decent one-off from Chiltern.
