Bottle at Rilesters, cheers Steve, 08/07/13. Dark mahogony brown with a good sized light tan head that retains well. Nose is light roasted malt, tarte berry fruits, soap. Taste comprises soured blackurrants and berry fruits, light roast malt, touch of chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Ok fruity kind of a stout.

Deep red - amber beer. Short lived pale tan head. Smooth but pretty dry palate. Roasty dark malt and sweet blackcurrant. Sounds great but it’s not! The sweetness is very artificial tasting and clashes horribly with the roast malt. Completing the disaster is a very dry finish and a horrible saccharine aftertaste. Smoke and coffee as well. Grim!

Bottled. A dark red beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of black currant, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of black currant, malt, and a bit of roasted malt, leadng to a dry finish.

Bottle @ Papsø. Fairly clear, reddish brown with a white head. A bit burnt, slightly smoky, dark fruity, plum/berry aroma. Thin, cloying sweet, caramel, roasty, thin flavor. Aroma was better than the flavor.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours an almost clear dark amber with a rough off-white head. Very sweet blackcurrant aroma, hardly any roast malt though. Medium body, sweet and berryish, a little ashes but hardly any roast. No real bitterness. 140712
