Clean amber with a medium head. Aroma of caramel malt. Flavour is dry sweet malt, caramel on a sweet dry fruit finish.

Draught @ Brauhaus und Ballhuas Watzke, Dresden. Pours hazy dark yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, grain, hay, light grassy. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, yeast, grainy, hay, grassy hops. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, light sweet light bitter finish. 010820

Hazy amber. Aroma is light almond caramel with a little grain. Taste is sweet full bodied juicy malt with good grainy backbone. Perfectly balanced. Nice to drink. A tad sweet and a tad minerally. Apart from that very good.

Draft @ Watzke/Goldener Reiter, Dresden. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and a little bit of toffee. Taste follows aroma with some citrus fruits added. Moderate bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Did it's job. Ok.

Draught @ Watzke Hauptsraße, Dresden. Aroma has toffee, hay and grainy malt. Flavour has grainy malt, toffee, hay and some minerals. Easy to forget.

“Altpieschner Spezial“, vom Faß im Watzke am Goldenen Reiter, Dresden. - Schönes Kupferrotgold, leicht trüb, sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase milde Hefe, feines Toastmalz und Karamel. - Antrunk hefig weich, mild toastmalzig und stark unreif mit schroffen Akzenten: chemisch wirkende Zitronenschale, Zahnkrem, Pfefferminzdrops, Pfeffer. Mild rezent. Im Abgang mehr unreife, scharfe Noten, eingebettet in derbe Malzbittere. Im Nachtrunk Mundwasser. - Arg ruppig-unreifes Gasthausbrauereien-Erzeugnis.
