Bottle, I’m guessing picked up at the brewery at some point pre Rich’s 50th. Clear deep cherry red. Slim pink foam. Nose has earthy sour cherry. Cherry liqueur. Lots of oak and must. Taste is dry tart and bitter. Fairly acidic overall. Pretty thin and harshly acidic on the palate. Dry and acidic finish. Nope. Not nearly drinkable as it stands.

750mL bottle at Boernerf. Pours clear ruby with a light pink head. Light cherries and some dusty old wood on the nose on the nose. Flavour has tart red cherries, some furniture. Very tart finish. Not a huge fan, but still pretty good.

2022 vintage. 750mL bottle at Boerenerf, pours a clear dark red with a small pink head. Aroma has plenty of tart cherries, aggressive acidity, and a hint of earthy must. Flavour has plenty of acetone, tart cherries, low-level funk, and some musty earthiness. A little too acetic and tart, but there’s a nice deep cherry character. Acetic, tart, but good cherry character. Not worth the €50/bottle.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy red. Juicy cherries, barnyard, oak, jammy, sour, a bit lemony. Really great.
