Bottle sample at Specja?y Regionalne, pours a clear golden blonde. Aroma brings out lots of wood, some oxidation and light honey nectar. Flavour follows accordingly, with oxidation, subdued honey nectar, and light bees wax. Lacking depth and refinement. This is just not an upper tier mead.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden, no head. Aroma is smooth honey, slight floral. Sweet, raisins, overripe fruity and lingering smooth honey. Mellow and smooth finish.

Bottle, 13%. Vinous aroma, not much honey to it. Beautiful deep golden amber colour. The flavour has some honey, but not a lot. It is, however, nicely spicy. Rather thin mouthfeel, I supposed, but OK for the ABV.

Measured Final Gravity: 1036
Amber color. The aroma is mild, nice, fruity. The flavor is sweet, not syrupy, with mild caramelly honey, nice fruity character, providing also some astringency. Good alcohol management. Good, although not overly complex.

Bottled, thanks fiulkijn! Deep golden. Floral honey sweetness dominates. Near full bodied witg rounded mouthfeel. Tropical fruits dripping with sticky honey. Some menthe and white pepper in a warming finish.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Light copepr color with no head. Aroma of flowers and honey. Very sweet honey taste. Medium bodied.

Bottle 750ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG11.[ Shared by Geokkjer ]. Clear medium amber orange colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, honey, alcohol, sharp, ruff, fruit - berry acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20110820]

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a clear, dark golden mead, flat. Honey, some flowery notes and a lurking alcohol touch on the nose. Full-bodied, warming and quite sweetish on the palate, finishing quite warming and flowery. A solid dose of honey in the flavor, and a flowery touch. A really nice and tasteful mead, not too warming either. 110820
