Review based on the BJCP2015 mead guidelines (style M3B: undeclared spices, cocoa, coffee). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 26102020 (BB undeclared). AROMA: medium-low to low cocoa and coffee. medium-high sweet honey background. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and clear. TASTE: similar to the aroma with low cocoa and slight coffee notes. medium-high sweet and syrupy honey background. slight heat. MOUTHFEEL: medium body. OVERALL: a Metheglin with excessive sweetness.
