Review based on the BJCP 2015 Mead Guidelines (style M2C: red fruits). Bottle 0.5 cl - Batch 30012021 AROMA: medium sweet honey aroma combined with slight citrus fermentation notes and low spice-like (clove) with a slight acidic character. APPARANCE: orange-ish to ruby color and cristal clear. no head. TASTE: initial sweet honey flavor, combined with slight fruitiness (citrus) and spice-like (clove). finishes sweet. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body and slight velvety. OVERALL: a very sweet melomel with red fruits which arent noticeable in the bottle sampled.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear amber. Honey, berry/strawberry jam, very sweet, chewy, sourish note.
