Tight white head on a finely carbonated unclear golden coloured body.
Zesty, grain & pale malt aroma.
Medium bodied, lively over the tongue with a sticky aft.
Wine Gums, melon, stone fruit & light malt tastes with a tangy finish.
Well balanced & quite moorish.

500ml bottle from Asda, Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham. Pours gold, moderate sized white head, leaves a decent looking top. Sweet malts, citrus, zest, some biscuit in aroma. Taste is like aroma, quite biscuity with citrus, zest and pine notes coming through. Quite dry, almost astringent, but its light and refreshing which counters this somewhat. Nice even if its not a standout golden ale.

Cask at the front Falmouth. A pale golden yellow coloured pour with a a sticky white head. Aroma is clean cereals, straw, lemongrass, pine, kiwi. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, straw, melon, kiwi, grass, firm bitterness. Easy going stuff. Palate is light good cask condition. Nice.

Bottle from Asda, High Wycombe. Deep, dull gold with a white head and middling fizz. Pleasant lemon and peach up front. Descends into a rather dull caramel finish. Quite sweet; could do with a lot more crispness in the finish. So-so overall.

12/6/2019. Bottle from Tesco, Gloucester. Pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, lime, passion fruit, malt, flowers and grass. Medium sweetness and bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Quite drinkable. Also 10/1/2026. Can from the brewery. See photo.
