Bottle at home shared with Laura. Amber color ofc, medium sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, slightly iron / metal, leaves, a little dusty maybe. Rather bitter finish. Hmm okay.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20230201) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had malts, caramel and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, caramel, toffee, toasted notes and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty, malty and bitter. A tasty malty brew with sweet notes.

Bouteille 33cl du Casal de Gualta.
Ambrée au col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme est plaisant avec une bonne note de malts - grillé et caramel, léger toasté le tout garde une part belle aux malts et un léger côté amer houblonné fruité perce en rétro-nasal.
Palais sur une belle approche de grillé - caramel, pâle, ambre voire note de Vienna avec un grillé qui perdure en fin de bouche. Houblonné léger fruité avec des pointes d'agrumes en fin de bouche - le tout reste dans une approche classique US.

330ml bottle at the Farmers Bar, Puchong, Malaysia. Poured a medium to dark amber colour with a short-lived frothy off-white head. The aroma is grainy toffee caramel malt, light biscuit. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a rich, slightly oily resin, sweet toffee, burnt treacle, light floral, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Wie das Bier zu seinem Namen kam, konnte ich nicht herausfinden. Auf wikipedia gibt es eine eigene Seite, die nur die Bedeutungen des Namens/der Abkürzunge etc. auflistet. Geschmacklich erhält man einfach ein top ausgeglichenes Amber Ale mit tollen Aromenspiel zwischen Malz und fruchtigen Noten. Auch die schwarzen Comic-Katzen am Etikett gefallen mir. Hat mir wirklich gut geschmeckt.
