Bottle from Brugsen - brown pour with beige head. Toasted sweet and smoked malty, some notes of rye, caramel sweetness, smoked meaty, some dried fruit shred, hoppy backing, smoked malty close.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy dark brown color, with red hue, and small head. Earthy and dusty aroma, no smoke. Some flavor of caramel, malt, smoked malt, with some sourness, but the smoke character is very low; ordinary bitterness. Drinkable, but a very rough, imprecise beer.

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours brown with a small creamy head and lacings. Smoked nose and flavor. Bacon and campfire with some chewy caramel and fruit. Medium bodied. Very well made.

Clear dark red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light smoky. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 011011

Bottle. Dark brown/amber with medium beige head. Aroma is caramel and a little smoke. Flavour is malt, smoke little meat, fruit, hops and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, fruits, smoke, caramel and hops.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark amber with small off white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and roasted malt with a hint of smoke and alcohol. Taste is sweet with light bitterness. Palate is round and oily with light carbonation. Finish has some bitterness and hints of smoke and licorice.

Bottle 500ml.Clear light dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, plastic - smoke. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long to average duration, caramel, plastic - smoke. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110918]

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw,leading to a dry finish.
