Bottle at Dorst. Slight hazy amber with big light beige head. Some sweet malts, toffee, light roasted notes, grassy hops, some citrus peel, light chemical bitterness, bit of cardboard. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with way too much carbonation.

Bottle. Copper color. Aroma of piney hop, amber malt and caramel. Soft taste of caramelised malt, pine, nuts and a bitter finish. Solid.

Tasting glass draft @ Billie’s Bier Kafétaria. Dark hazy amber, creamy white. Nose is mellow malt, low herbal notes, touch biscuit, rather low smell. Taste is overly sweet cooked apple, biscuit, cough syrup, caramel, raisin, brown sugar,… profile almost mimics an oxidized lower ABV beer, too much cooked apple, raisin, cough syrup,… Too sweet in a poor way. Thin, oily & bit herbal body. Others liked but it didn’t appeal to me, I found a bit difficult to drink which is not the best quality for this ABV & style.

Draught @ Big Al’s, Barcelona. Pours golden with an offwhite head, lacings. Aroma of malt, light caramel, sweet fruity hops, citrus. Flavor is malt, caramel, grass, fruit, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 270416

Brown color with a minimal and quickly dimishing white head. Aroma has light notes of caramel, some hoppy nose and resins. Flavor is mild bitterness, light toasty with mild maltiness. Light bitterness in the final with very low carbonation.
