Smakprov drucket på Brewskival 2019. Riktigt riktigt maffig med enorm kropp och lager på lager av smaker. Ganska kärv, lätt rökig, läder, mörk choklad, bourbon, aningen syrlig. Mycket gott.

Opaque black - brown beer, tan head. Dark malt and dark chocolate nose with an unfortunate whiff of paint. Light palate with moderate carbonation. Taste follows the nose and that includes that emulsion paint tone that some barrel aged beers suffer from. A little bourbon underneath but the paint overwhelms and I didn’t enjoy this at all.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, bourbon, and a bit of soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, soy sauce, roasted malt, and bourbon, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours an opaque pitch black with a tiny beige head. Nose is dominated by heavy booze and tarish roast. Rich, rich body, lowish carbonation, sweet roast, dark dried fruits and quite some roast. Violent boozy finish. Serious stuff indeed but very enjoyable. 030612

Bottle thanks to my Michigan Crew! Pours an oily black with a dark brown head that dissiapted to the edges and lace slightly. Aroma is full of roasted malts with a good amount of bourbon and a hint of dark chocolate. Flavor starts with booze of bourbon but dissipates in to a slightly bitter dark chocolate finish. Nice and oily.
