Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 10, 2024. Aroma is unsurprisingly very citra forward. Tons of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine with a bit of lime. Light gooseberry and tropical fruit notes with a hint of dank, oily resin. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a very hazy, dull, golden straw color with a fairly large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Fairly high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Lots of citrus notes with lighter passion fruit and lychee notes. A light dank, resin note in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid hazy DIPA and a great expression of citra hops. This is the type of beer that reminds me why citra hops were all the rage for a few years. So bright and citrusy in the aroma with a bunch of tropical fruit notes in the flavor.
