On tap at the Alameda tap room. Aroma is moderately hoppy with dank, cat piss notes and lighter gooseberry and tropical fruit notes. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a slightly hazy, bright, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that shows really nice retention as it slowly recedes to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly assertive bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderate dank, cat piss and resin notes with light gooseberry and tropical fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Super dank and resinous while I prefer a fruitier nelson expression. Fairly crisp and easy drinking with it's rather light malt body and profile. Fairly assertive bitterness.
