Sampled at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Jan 2018. Pours light unclear pale yellow with no head. Sweet pear, light acidity, sugary, low tannins. Medium body with low/no carbonation.

Box @ GBBF ’17. Pours a misty pale yellow. Aroma of musty, moderately sweet perry fruit. Taste has a musty medium-sweet perry pear character, soft acidity with some bittersharp perry fruit. Decent.

Silvery yellow colour with no head. Aroma is pear, some wood, mild spiciness, a bit sulphur and funk as well as some slight cheesiness. Flavour is sweet pear, some sweet spiciness, mild cheesy and some sugary notes.

Plastic barrel @ GBBF 2014. Pours a hazy yellow color with no head. Has a fruity spicy pear aroma. Fruity spicy pear flavor. Has a slightly dry spicy pear finish.

Polycask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England. [ As Springherne Perry - Medium (4) ]. Clear light yellow (silver) color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate pear, cheese - leather - wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dry, pear. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110805]
