Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 03, 2023. Aroma is pretty hop forward with a fruity character. Lots of peach, melon, passion fruit, gooseberry and light citrus notes. Light grain and cracker malt notes. Hints of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, pale, yellow-gold color with a large, thick, fluffy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light grain and cracker malt notes. Medium high to high bitterness with faint alcohol notes. Lighter hop notes with some citrus, passion fruit and a slight stone fruit note. Some lingering oily, pine resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty decent session IPA. The hop aroma is solid and has a pretty big peach ring candy note to it, but the flavor has a lot less hop character and instead has a lingering, resinous bitterness. Malt profile and body is light, but there is enough of it in the flavor to carry the bitterness and hide the alcohol.
